San Francisco has so many epic views of the Golden Gate bridge and beyond! There is so much to do and lots to explore. No matter how many times I have been to the city or beaches of SF I can always find a new place.
But don’t worry, I’ve created the three perfect locations for that stunning backdrop of the famous Golden Gate Bridge.
Location #1
Kirby Cove: This little beach offers a perspective of the Bay Area that I absolutely fell in love with. On your left you have that gorgeous Golden Gate backdrop and on the right you get a city back drop of Daly City and straight ahead is noting but Pacific ocean sea.
Directions for Kirby Cove: Getting there can be tricky. I would recommend to park near Battery Spencer. Look for the trail head Kirby Cove. Please note its about a mile walk down to the beach itself but the views down are so pretty.
Location #2
Marshall Beach: Out of all three of these this is my absolute favorite. We choose to hit the beach just before sunset and the lighting was perfect. Parking can be tight so plan ahead if you are going on a weekend afternoon. Pack a picnic and a blanket and enjoy the views!
Angel Island: I completely fell in love with this little island and definitely want to go back soon! There are so many little stops along your hike around the Island with a end of the Golden Gate Bridge. You can read more about this island and how to get here on my Angel Island post here.
I hope you can enjoy these spots as much as we did! xoxo The Pea Crew
